Porsche Romania, the importer of Audi on the domestic market, estimates to sell 80 units of its new A5 models this year, whereas next year's target exceeds 150 units. The price of such a model starts at around 36,000 euros (Audi A5) and can reach over 48,500 euros (Audi S5) - all prices excluding VAT. The importer has already had 15 pre-orders for the new A5 models, five of which were for the S5 sports version. Audi clients' preferences are geared towards the sports models, a target also supported by the rise in Audi sales since the beginning of the year. In order to maintain the demand, the importer has launched four sports coupe models. In the first half of the year, the new S3 model was presented in Romania, with the importer selling nine units in the first five months of the year, and four units for the RS4 model. At the end of February, Porsche Romania launched the new generation of the TT model, which had sold 36 units by the end of May, 29 of which were coupes. The latest Audi model launched in Romania is the super sports car R8.
