Automobile Bavaria, the importer of the BMW and Mini brands, has decided to sell 100 vehicles, each worth 100,000 euros during the course of this year. Last year, the company sold 12 cars, for 100,000 euros each according to information previously provided by Automobile Bavaria. "I think we will be able to sell over 100 cars worth 100,000 euros this year. We have a few BMW models in our portfolio, such as Series 6, Series 7 or even the M5 and M6 models, whose standard, pre-VAT price is around 90,000 euros. If you add the VAT and a few optional features, the sales price easily tops 100,000 euros," stated Ciprian Bercea, the company's marketing manager. This year company representatives stated that it was possible to sell another one or two Rolls Royce luxury cars, as several customers have already expressed an interest in this brand. For 2007, Automobile Bavaria's estimates to sell over 2,000 units through its 13 Romanian dealers, with the targeted growth rate being at least 15% compared with the 1,754 cars delivered last year.
