Bavaria Leasing increases capital by 1.1 million euros

Bavaria Leasing, a company whose shareholders include Daniel Daianu and Attila Verestoy, has increased its share capital by 3.88 million RON (1.1 million euros), as revealed by a decision of the shareholders published in the Official Gazette. As a result of this move, the share capital of the company reached 12 million RON (more than 3.3 million euros). The shareholders of Bavaria Leasing are Attila Verestoy (29.6%), Michael Horst Schmidt (29%), Daniel Daianu (12%), Valeriu Patriciu (8.4%), Constantin Radu Caftanat (1%) and MHS Trucks SRL (20%). During the same general meeting of shareholders that voted for the capital increase, a new Board of Directors was elected, which now comprises Michael Horst Schmidt (chairman), Constantin Radu Caftanat and Miklos Karoly. The local leasing market exceeded 4.9 billion euros in 2007, and could increase by another billion this year. The biggest players in this business are UniCredit Leasing Corporation, BCR Leasing and Porsche Leasing.
