BDO Romania: We will see a 10% rise

BDO Romania, the largest auditing and consulting firm on the Romanian market apart from the BIG 4 giants, expects a 10% turnover increase this year, to over 11 million dollars (around 8 million euros). "This year we expect our turnover to rise 10% in real terms, to more than 11 million euros. We have many reorganisation requests, companies experiencing a decline and coming to us to help them streamline their costs, seeking fiscal incentives or to obtain European funding. We will also rely on HR consulting and I expect the advisory market in general to rise," says Silviu Manolescu, CEO of BDO Romania, which includes BDO Conti Audit, BDO Conti Consultants, BDO Conti Insolvency and BDO Conti Tax Advisors. The company has 10 associate partners. With a 10 million-dollar (7 million-euro) turnover in 2008, the company is followed by Mazars Hemmelrath, which ended last year with 3.5 million euros in turnover.
