The land on top of which Casa Radio (Radio House) is located, which currently is involved in a real estate project with an approximately 700 million-euro investment, was reassessed by the development company, Plaza Centers, at 164 million euros, according to the company's half-year report. The land has a 91,000 square-metre surface area. The price per square metre of land in the Eroilor area (in central Bucharest) is valued at 1,800-euros, almost double the price against the same time last year, when the same plot was valued at 87.3 million euros, that is 960 euros/square metre. The project is the largest real estate development by the by Israeli-based company and one of the largest on the domestic market. The development is in partnership with the Romanian Government and will cover a surface area of 360,000 square metres and will include a shopping centre, offices, a hotel, homes and conference halls.
