CCCF regains foreign markets

18.08.2003, 00:00 6

CCCF SA, one of the leading Romanian constructions companies, aims to win more orders abroad this year, although Romanian firms have been facing a slump in foreign markets since 1989. "CCCF has been running a contract worth 5 million euros for Serbia's Railway Company since March. This is the first foreign market contract our company has landed since 1990," Nicolae Berbec, the company's spokesperson, told Ziarul Financiar. "We are planning a comeback on the foreign markets this year, and CCCF is now bidding for a project in Syria," Berbec also stated. CCCF is thus trying to balance its volume of operations and regain the ground it lost on the domestic market, where its portfolio has shrunk. ZF
