The supply of hotels in Cluj will improve as of next winter after construction is completed of a new three-star hotel by a Romanian-Italian partnership. "We have invested 1.5 million euros to date for the structure alone, and the total investment will double once we have applied the finishing touches. The funding is covered entirely from our own resources, we have not taken out any loans for building the hotel, and this is the main reason why we don't feel pressured by anything," Radu Paslaru, who is supporting half of the investment, told Ziarul Financiar. "The new hotel will have 5,100 sqm available for guests. The basement will be used for services, such as sauna, massage etc., while the ground floor will include a multi-purpose hall adapted to business requirements: conferences, roundtable meetings and cocktail receptions," added Paslaru.
