Comcereal Arad to split into two companies

Comcereal Arad shareholders have decided to split the cereal trading company in two, with the newly established company to take over part of Comcereal's share capital, according to company information sent on Tuesday to the RASDAQ stock exchange. On March 21, the General Meeting of Shareholders made the decision to split the company and establish a new company - Agrorent, whose share capital will be set up by lowering Comcereal's share capital. Comcereal will lower its capital by 986,500 RON to 2.85 million RON by transferring 394,600 shares with a nominal value of 2.5 RON. Agrorent will have a 986,500-RON share capital and the company's main shareholder will be SIF (Financial Investment Company) Banat-Crisana, with a 97.83% stake. Following the split, Ardealul will remain Comcereal's main shareholder with an 88.29% stake. The company has a 3.83 million-RON share capital and the majority shareholder is Ardealul, with 65.61% of the shares, while SIF Banat-Crisana holds 25.14% of the capital.
