CrisTim sells ready meal products worth 3.2m euros

Charcuterie producer CrisTim, one of the leading players on its market, derived 25% of its ready meal turnover alone from sales to the Romanian store chain of French retailer Carrefour. The group's ready meal division ended last year with turnover worth 3.2 million euros, up 33% against the previous year, when it posted 2.4 million euros in turnover. "Around 40% of the ready meal-generated turnover is accounted for by international chains, while the rest is accounted for by clients in the Bucharest area. Our biggest client on the ready meal segment is Carrefour, with sales to the retailer accounting for 25% of the ready meal turnover, while the other clients include chains in Bucharest such as Ivet, Albinuta and Nic," said Gabriel Alexandru, vice-president of the CrisTim group.
