Automobile Dacia, the main carmaker domestically, yesterdayproduced in Mioveni the 1 millionth Logan car, six years and fourmonths after the launch of the "5,000-euro car", as the first carmanufactured in Piteşti in the Renault era was initiallypromoted.
The total value of Logan model production in all these years can beput at around 8bn euros, considering Romanians are this yearspending around 2bn euros on cars, imported, domestically producedand used ones.
The 1 million cars make up the total production of Dacia Loganmodel in Mioveni, with the four versions, sedan, MCV, pick-up andVan, not including Logan models assembled in Morocco,Casablanca.
Currently, almost 1,400 vehicles are currently produced each day atDacia, with production set to reach almost 330,000 units this year,of which over 90% will be exported. In overall production, thebiggest weight is held by Sandero, followed by Duster and LoganMCV.
