Albin Budinsky, the CEO of Schenker Romtrans, part of Germany'sDeutsche Bahn transport giant and one of the biggest privatecompanies on the freight transport market, says the company'srevenues rose by 18.2% to around 16m euros in the first threemonths of this year.
The company works with several subcontractors for shipping.
"2010 was the year of consolidation and this year will be a yearof growth. In the first three months we made profit, even thoughthese are not the best months of the year. The start of 2011 ispromising, but however we do not have time to relax, we must beactive", Budinsky said.
He maintained turnover levels similar to those of three yearsago had not been reached, yet, and despite of his optimism aboutthis year, he was still waiting to see what direction the economywill follow in the next quarters.
