Dragos Cabat, vice-president of Association of Charted Financial Analysts, moved to Citibank Romania this week, taking over the position of deputy manager of the risk management department of the consumer finance division. Over the past two years, Cabat had been director of the risk management department of OTP Bank. He spent most of his banking career at UniCredit, where he started out as a branch manager in 2001. In September 2005, he became head of credit policy department. In the meantime, he also ran the bank's macroeconomic research department. A trained engineer, Cabat was among the first financial analysts in Romania to receive an international CFA certificate.
