Dumagas Transport, one of the biggest road transportersdomestically, in the first three months of this year acquired 100new trucks, totally worth over 7m euros, according to ZFcalculations.
"Since the start of the year, we've acquired 100 new trucks,both to expand our fleet and replace older trucks. Thus, Dumagasfleet has reached around 600 trucks," said Mihai Dugăeşescu, thecompany's main shareholder and general manager.
He did not specify how the 100 trucks were acquired or theirbrand. Against the first half of last year, when the company'sfleet included 450 utility vehicles, it has expanded by almost 30%in less than 12 months.
Last year, Dumagas Transport saw turnover rise by over 30% toalmost 40m euros, according to the company's manager, from 28meuros in 2009.
