Flanco, Romania's largest retailer of home appliances and electronic devices in terms of turnover, is looking to redouble its sale space, up to 15,000 sq. metres, as it will open another 18-20 stores, also modernising and expanding the existing units. The company will invest about five million euros in expansion. "Two of the new units will be very big, with the total number of stores to exceed 60, in Bucharest and across the country," said Marius Ghenea, Flanco general manager. Flanco last year posted 52 million euros in turnover, more than double the turnover logged in 2001 (22m euros). ZF
