Gabriel Hanganu, former manager of pharmaceutical company Pfizer's local division until 2000, has opened a pleasure boat showroom in Bucharest, close to the Otopeni bridge, after an investment worth 1 million euros. According to company representatives, the Willon Harbour showroom has a 700 square-metre area and can display around 15 boats. For its first year of activity, the company estimates sales worth 1 million euros, while for 2009, the turnover is forecast to stand at around 1.5 million euros. Willon Harbour sells 6-9-metre boats, with the brands on display including Regal Boats, (manufactured in the US), Galeon, (Poland), and Pedro (Holland). "At present, we have 15 feet-long (4.95 metre-long) boats, as well as 8-tonne boats. Willon Harbour targets businesspeople, middle and top managers, who have already bought homes and cars, and want to buy a boat," said Hanganu.
