Shareholders of Gemisa Investments will set up a new fund worth 20-30 million euros most likely by the end of next year. In addition to shareholders' money, bank funds will also be attracted, with the total investments attracted to amount to some 50-60 million euros. Until now, Gemisa has been a small fund, concentrating mainly on small projects from the services sector. The fund has invested 4.7 million euros in ten companies, and has funding commitments worth 1.3 million euros for the already existing projects. "The new investment fund Gemisa, will provide higher funding than that granted so far. The average value of an investment will stand at some 8-10 million euros," said Dragos Rosca, CEO of Gemisa Investments. The first projects of the new fund will be finalised at the beginning of next year. Whereas Dragos Rosca has invested in the services sector so far, with the new fund, he intends to become a shareholder of companies with a higher value that are involved in production.
