Ghenea prepares to exit two businesses

09.04.2009, 17:04 9

Businessman Marius Ghenea, founder of electronics, home appliances and IT&C products retailer Flamingo, expects a positive performance from the seven companies he manages, announcing 10-35% rises amid the growth of the Internet and amid independence from bank credits. In the last year, Ghenea relied on online and traditional retail, adding to his portfolio 24PC.ro and shopIT.ro online stores, specialising in the sale of IT&C products, and the franchise of coffee shop Testa Rossa. In his industrial businesses, however, it is time for him to sell. "For me as an investor, any such company is to some degree thought out in view of a future exit. We are in talks for two companies, but the investor has been somewhat slow in deciding (...)," said Marius Ghenea, without giving the names of the companies targeted.
