Impuls Leasing targets 270m-euro funding

21.04.2008, 19:30 11

Impuls Leasing, a company that started operations in April last year, intends to grant funding worth 270 million euros by the end of this year. The company aims to grow in particular on the construction equipment segment, real estate leasing, as well as the agricultural and medical segments. Impuls Leasing could therefore make it into the top ten after just a year and a half of operations. In 2007, the largest company on the leasing market, UniCredit Leasing Corporation, granted funding worth 500 million euros, while the tenth largest company on the market, Motoractive Leasing, awarded funding worth 190 million euros. If Impuls Leasing reaches 270 million euros, the company will come very close to Raiffeisen Leasing, the fourth largest player on the market in 2007, which estimates funding worth 280 million euros for this year. Therefore, Impuls Leasing will reach a middle ranking position, alongside players such as Raiffeisen Leasing, Tiriac Leasing and BRD Sogelease. In the first quarter of this year, Impuls Leasing granted funding worth 56.7 million euros. 3,803 contracts were signed during this period, while their overall value (including commissions and interests) amounted to 65.5 million euros. The company now has over 13,000 contracts in its portfolio.
