Drug distributor LaborMed Pharma Trading estimates a turnover worth some 30 million euros for this year, a 50% increase against last year. "In 2005 we posted a turnover worth 19.5 million euros, and the growth we are expecting this year will be mainly the result of investments that we have underway," said Marcian Gavrilescu, the company's general manager. LaborMed Pharma Trading announced it will invest over 0.5 million euros to change the whole car fleet, which is currently made up of refrigerating cars. Marcian Gavrilescu says that, unlike the classic pharmaceuticals distribution, which entails that a distributor delivers the products of several companies, LaborMed Pharma Trading is a niche player. "Classic distributors fight for shares of the market because they work with a large number of products. We only work with products made by LaborMed Pharma," said Gavrilescu.
