Metalicplas Dej, owned by businessman Ioan Tecar, budgeted investment worth some 17.3 million euros to bring technological improvement to five of the group's companies. "Through these investments, Metalicplas will triple its welded mesh production capacity, Pehart Tec will increase production by 80%, and Samus Constructii (Samus Constructions) will acquire equipment and vehicles for transport," Ioan Tecar, president of the Metalicplas Dej group, told ZF. Metalicplas Impex will get an investment of 5 million euros, 10 million euros will be invested in Pehart Tec, 1 million euros in Izo Tec, and 350,000 euros in Samus Constructii. The investment in Metalicplas Impex was completed in the first six months of the year, and, according to the group's management, following this investment, Metalicplas Impex will reach a turnover worth some 29 million euros, against the 15.5 million euros seen in 2005.
