BMW's dealer, MHS Motors, a part of the Automobile Bavaria network, has budgeted a 15 million-euro turnover for this year, according to Ciprian Bercea, general manager of MHS Motors. Automobile Bavaria, the biggest BMW dealer on the local market and former importer of the brand, estimates to derive an over 120 million-euro turnover from the sale of BMW cars, which includes 13% from the business of MHS Motors. The overall turnover would correspond to 3,000 automobiles, at an average price of around 40,000 euros per piece. The group headed by Michael Schmidt invested 4 million euros in the new facility, which is situated in the West of Bucharest. "The investment in the MHS Motors dealer exceeds 4 million euros, while the facility covers a 8,000 square-metre area," said Ciprian Bercea. The new location meets the "3S" standards, as it includes both an 800 square-metre showroom, which exhibits 11 BMW models, a servicing centre, that can hold 11 automobiles and a storage facility for automotive parts. The new dealer sells both new cars and second-hand ones, as part of the BMW Company Cars offer, with the 300 cars being originally used by company employees. The BMW network numbers 14 stores on the local market, 13 of which are held by Automobile Bavaria, which also owns a dealer in Germany, near Munich.
