Case Utilaje Constructii SRL company based in Ilfov county,which was established in 2006 and imports construction equipment,fruit producer Andany Trading SRL, based in Giurgiu and Trustul deConstructii Civile si Industriale (construction company) based inArges were chosen as the top performers in the Muntenia-Dobrogeaarea by Ziarul Financiar and Enterprise Investors yesterday. ZF andEnterprise Investors are now at the second yearly edition of suchawards, and the conference in Bucharest comes after those in Iasiand Timisoara. ZF selected companies with more than 40 million RON(10 million euros) in turnover, which posted profit in 2008.
All three companies posted an average growth rate of more than 370%over the last few years and are held by Romanian shareholders. "Wemanaged to create the biggest intensive orchard in Romania," saidAna Pahomie, commercial manager of Andany Trading.
On another note, shareholders and management should agree to thefinancial restructuring of a company should the situation call forit, and tardy implementation of steps in this regard may drive thecompany to insolvency, the participants to the "Winning solutionsduring crisis. Top performing companies in Muntenia-Dobrogea 2009"conference organised by Ziarul Financiar and Enterprise Investorssaid.
"This year we were called to take financial restructuring jobs intwo occasions, but after performing a diagnosis we said no becauseit was too late. Both later made headlines as insolvency cases,"said Doru Lionachescu, managing partner of Capital Partners. He didnot reveal the names of the two companies.
Commenting on how 2009 had been for his company, Lionachescuspecified that although they were known as a merger andacquisitions firm, they focused more on the financial restructuringsegment, where they brokered more than 100 million euros incontracts.
