Radu Taracila Padurari Retevoescu (RTPR) law firm announced that a new managing partner had been brought on board since the beginning of this month, Mihai Ristici. Ristici joined the RTPR team in May last year, from the Linklaters office in Bucharest. As a matter of fact, RTPR was founded by lawyers who had worked for the British law firm Linklaters, one of the biggest firms in the world. "This choice increased the number of partners to 5; the firm is currently recruiting some of the best Law School graduates and we intend to expand our team to up to 20-22 lawyers by the end of the year," says Dragos Radu, one of the founding partners of the firm. RTPR provided consultancy for the Portuguese bank Millennium BCP on the privatisation of BCR, the biggest bank in Romania. The Portuguese were defeated in the finals of the race by Erste Bank - Austria. ZF
