Oviesse to open 2 more stores next year

Italian clothing manufacturer OVS Industry has opened its first Oviesse store in Romania, in Cluj, within Polus Center, and intends to open another two stores in Romania next year, with one definitely located in Bucharest. "The Romanian market is growing, and there are many development opportunities," said Sabina Gava, representative of Oviesse's Marketing Department. The first Oviesse store opened in Romania, as part of Cluj-based Polus Center, estimates 3.5 million-euro sales in the first year. The Cluj store has an almost 1,000 square-metre area and 60 employees. OVS Industry was founded in 1972, in Padua and currently has 303 stores and over 3,000 employees in Italy. In 2006, OVS Industry had net sales worth 767.3 million euros, and an average of 63 million clients. The company is listed on the Italian stock exchange. The Oviesse store was opened within the Polus Center in Cluj, under franchise, by the Lebanese group Azadea, which operates over 240 stores with over 40 brands such as Max Mara, Pimky, Cool Cat and Mango, in the Middle East and Eastern Europe.
