The plastics producer Prodplast Bucharest is planning to increase its share capital by some 5.8 million RON (1.6 million euros) to 11.6 million RON, according to the Bucharest Stock Exchange. The increase in share capital will be achieved through raising the par value of the company''s shares from 8.5 to 17 RON by incorporating the reserves made from net profits in the 1998-2003 period. Prodplast is listed on the second tier of the Bucharest Stock Exchange. Its shares will be split such that each 17 RON par value share will turn into 17 shares with a par value of 1 RON. Prodplast officials were unavailable for comment. The company is hoping to generate full-year revenues of approximately 17 million euros, up from 14 million euros in 2004. Prodplast''s turnover for the first three months of the year amounted to around 3.4 million euros. The Bucharest company is an established player on the market for PVC processed and injection-moulded products, as well as polyethylene processed products and moulds for injection-moulding. ZF
