08.02.2006, 20:58 12

The German company Reinert, investing over 15 million euros to build a cold cuts plant near Brasov, is looking for Romanian managers to head a 400-employee plant, with the only expat in the company being the production manager. The new managers will be sent on training courses in one of the five production centres of the German group, starting this April. "Some of the Romanian employees will be sent to take training courses in one of the German group''s five production centres in order to become familiar with the company''s methods; a number of their German colleagues will take part in a coaching programme in Brasov," stated Ovidiu Bocaniciu, chief executive at H&E Reinert Romania. The German company will initially hire 250 people, with the number of employees to reach 400 people after its capacity is expanded. For top management positions, Reinert is working with a company specialising in recruitment. "We are currently identifying prospective candidates. In the middle of this month, we will begin hiring for the positions of marketing manager, key accounts manager and quality manager," explains Bocaniciu. As for positions directly involved in production, as well as middle-management positions, the company will start directly recruiting in Brasov. One of the decisive factors when choosing a location in Romania was the work force in Brasov. ZF
