Renault centre in Titu, 2nd most important worldwide

26.06.2007, 18:22 12

In the next two years, Renault is expected to invest over 100 million euros in Renault Technologie Roumanie, the second most important centre of the French group after its centre based in France. "The investments worth 100 million euros are merely the first stage in this project. We cannot say what the total investments will amount to, until after the first two or three years, when the market trend becomes clearer. We will progressively develop models on the Logan platform at the centre and as Renault Technologie Roumanie becomes stronger; investments will increase," said Luc Alexandre Menard, chairman of Automobile Dacia and Renault's public affairs manager. The Romanian centre together with the centres in France, Brasil, and South Korea, will be concerned with the launch of 26 different models by 2009.
