02.02.2005, 00:00 5

Romaqua Group, the bottler of Borsec mineral water, plans to invest 10 million euros over the next two years in order to expand its production capacity and build a new factory in Busteni, said company chairman Octavian Cretu. "Next year we'll begin construction of a new factory, where a new line of products will be made. We will invest about 10 million euros in this factory, as well as in expanding capacity in Busteni," explained the Romaqua chairman. The production facility in Busteni, which bottles soft drinks, is currently being expanded. "We are working on installing the production lines for still mineral water and for a new product," he added. This year's investments will primarily go to production promotion activities. "We will invest four million euros in the consolidation of our company on the market, that is in warehouses, displays and other promotional actions intended for the expansion of Romaqua's brands on the market," Cretu said.
