Siveco seeks 20% growth next year

Business software solutions provider Siveco Romania set out to conclude this year with 40 million dollar (34 million euro) turnover, and make approximately 48 million dollar (40 million euro) revenues next year, the company officials told Ziarul Financiar.

Siveco in July attracted a 12 million dollar (about 10 million euro) investment from two investment funds, Enterprise Investors (EI) and Intel Capital, held by Intel Corporation, which bought approximately 32.5% in the company.

ãIt was about choosing strategic partners; we did not want just an investor to come up with cash," explained Irina Socol, Siveco Romania general manager. The investment is being channelled to several major directions for the company. Those directions are research and development, marketing and consultancy for business development over three to five years, she added.

The two funds want to consolidate the position of Siveco in Romania through this investment, as well as to have the company expand onto foreign markets, as previously stated by Dariusz Pronczuk, the official in charge of this project for EI. Siveco also provides eLearning and eHealth solutions.
