Google's top ten results include turistinfo.ro, roturism.com,ecazari.ro, tourismguide.ro, infopensiuni.ro, romaniacazare.ro,cazari.ro, retouring.ro, viaromania.eu andromania-turistica.ro.
Presence on the Internet among the top results for accommodationbrings these websites, which provide tourists for free withdatabases of pensions, villas and hotels in Romania, several tensof thousand euros annually. The money comes from the contracts theyseal with pensions or hotels for presence on specialisedaccommodation websites.
"The emergence of websites presenting accommodation possibilitiesis an adaptation to technology. For some years, people have startedbooking hotel or pension rooms over the Internet. Accommodationwebsites are easy to find as they are very well optimised aftercertain key words such as accommodation," stated Lucian Marinescu,a senior associate with Trend Hospitality consultancy.
