Tetarom signs up seven companies

29.03.2005, 00:00 11

Officials from the Tetarom industrial park in Cluj have concluded contracts with seven companies. The investment projects announced by the companies are worth approximately 100 million euros. "We have reached the stage where papers are being put together and construction rights are being granted to these seven companies. We estimate (...) works will begin at the end of May 2005," Viorel Gavrea, Tetarom's general manager, told ZF Transilvania. The biggest investment will come from Germany's Ruwel AG, with 80 million euros for the manufacturing of high-tech integrated circuits for the automotive industry. They are followed by Energobit, which plans to build an industrial automation equipment factory that requires around 10 million euros in investment. Tetarom officials say contracts were also recently signed with US-based A&A Medical, which intends to invest 1.3 million euros in a drug packaging line, as well as with Via Terra Spedition, which will allocate 1.5 million euros to the building of warehouses.
