Wolf Theiss domestic office could expand to 35 lawyers

15.02.2007, 20:42 11

The local office of Austrian law firm Wolf Theiss has currently reached 25 lawyers, whereas at the beginning of 2006, the company employed less than ten. "We will go to schools in order to attract students, but we may also turn to recruiting experienced lawyers who are either dissatisfied with the firms they currently work for, or desire a change. At the end of the year, we could reach a total of 35 lawyers," says Bryan Jardine, coordinating lawyer at Wolf Theiss and Partners. Jardine did not wish to specify the revenues recorded in 2006, but he stated he was aiming for a 30% increase in business, granted that he could, in addition, hire other lawyers. The local branch of Wolf Theiss relies on the reputation of the firm's main office in Austria and on the experience of their coordinating lawyer in the United States; Bryan Jardine, these two advantages being major factors behind over 60% of the company's revenues.
