IT&C companies hiring in times of crisis

Companies that hire Romanians to provide services "remotely" forclients abroad are some of the most active employers on theRomanian IT&C market.
According to data on recruitment websites such as ejobs.ro orbestjobs.ro, Oracle, the local subsidiary of one of the world'sleading software producers, has 94 job openings in Bucharest, forprogrammers, consultants, and engineers.
The IT&C industry is one of the sectors that hired personnel ina time of crisis, when companies were preparing for majorrestructuring.
Accenture, a company specialising in management consulting,technology solutions, and outsourcing, is looking to hire 19 in thefinancial, accounting, human resources, insurance, and supplysectors for its BPO (business process outsourcing) centre.According to statements from Accenture officials, the company wantsto hire 120-150 at its outsourcing centre in the comingperiod.
Hewlett-Packard (HP), the largest IT company on the Romanianmarket, has 27 jobs available for specialists in client relationsin Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca.
Alcatel-Lucent, one of the world's biggest producers of telecomequipment, announced in the first few months of the year it woulddouble its Timişoara team that manages networks of operators suchas British Telecom and Orange Switzerland and Austria. The companyhas 11 jobs available in Timişoara and Arad.
