Banca tiriac has decided to leave the Romanian Association of Banks (ARB). "The Romanian Association of Banks has turned out to be a weak organisation, lacking authority and unable to promote the interests of the banks on the Romanian market. We tried to do something to change this, but failed, so that we decided to leave the Association," Anthony van der Heijden, Banca tiriac chairman told Ziarul Financiar. "We have not been notified of this decision, yet, but Banca tiriac is free to do as it pleases. I, however, do not think this is the best thing for it," Radu Gratian Ghetea, ARB chairman said. ZF
