Comelf Bistrita, producer of equipment for protection of the environment, registered a 0.78-million euro (2.8 million RON) net profit last year, 37% more than the profit seen in the previous year. Comelf posted turnover worth 23.79 million euros (86.1 million RON) in 2005, 36.1% more than sales for 2004. Nine months into last year, the company logged net profit worth 0.62 million euros (2.25 million RON), with turnover standing at 17.86 million euros (64.6 million RON). Comelf is controlled by Uzinsider Bucharest, which owns 76.6% of the shares. Comelf shares are listed on the Stock Exchange. The market capitalisation of the company stands at 11.37 million euros. ZF
