Daw Benta Romania, based in Mures county, a member of the Daw & Caparol group, which produces varnish and paint, posted a 14.8m euro turnover in the first nine months of this year, up 56% against the same period in 2006. "The real estate market, the market of constructions and of construction materials, has registered a rising trend over the last few years; a trend which, according to our estimates, will continue into the coming period, as well. With this in mind, we continue to trust that our company's business will continue to register a positive trend. Apart from the segment of new constructions (both residential and industrial), an important role in boosting our company's turnover is played by the renovation of old buildings, which include private homes and also historic properties," Remus Aurel Benta, general manager of Daw Benta Romania told ZF Transilvania.
