H&M's “boom”: Ten contracts signed in four months

H&M Swedish fashion giant, with 11bn-euro annual turnover,in just four months inked ten contracts to open storesdomestically, with the latest deal signed with Iulian Dascalu, "theking of malls", who will accommodate three H&M stores in hisprojects.

Dascalu yesterday announced he reached an agreement with theSwedish firm for the opening of stores in Iulius Mall centres ofCluj and Timisoara, as well as in Palas project of Iasi, whoselaunch is scheduled for next autumn.

So far, another five H&M stores have become official, in AFIPalace, Baneasa Shopping City, Bucuresti Mall and Plaza Romania ofBucharest, as well as in Maritimo project of Constanta. The H&Mstores in Unirea shopping centres of Bucharest and Brasov have notbeen confirmed, yet, by Unirea representatives, or H&Mones.

The first H&M stores should be opened next spring, inBucharest, with the biggest of them rented in AFI Palace Cotrocenimall.
