Hidroconstrucţia, the second biggest player on the Romanianconstructions market in 2009, is mulling expansion to the MiddleEast, while other Romanian builders, such as Romstrade or Delta ACMhave entered the Iraqi market in recent months.
"The company's board of directors plans to considerpossibilities of penetrating high-potential markets of the MiddleEast, as we identify political and economic stability conditions,"stated Romeo Bogdanovici, head of HR management with thecompany.
The company has budgeted turnover worth above 230m euros forthis year, flat from 2010.
While last year the builder saw turnover drop by around 13% (inlei i.e.) year-on-year, profit, on the other hand, added over 3meuros, to 14m euros.
