US-based Honeywell Group and Japanese Koyo Group have started producing car parts in Sibiu, following a partnership with Romanian automotive parts maker Compa. The maturity of the two contracts, due to occur in 2004 for Honeywell and in July 2003 for Koyo will boost Compa's sales by 30%, Ioan Deac, Compa Sibiu general manager told Ziarul Financiar. The Honeywell and Koyo parts will be produced only by some of Compa's facilities, which have been recently retooled in view of the two contracts. The investments were born by both Compa and the two companies. ZF
