Investment fund looking for promising start-ups

18.02.2003, 00:00 11

Litexco Group, a European investment company, is to launch a venture-capital fund in Romania. The new entity will finance start-ups, said Bogdan Serban, head of Litexco's Romanian-based subsidiary. "We are now testing the market and we do not know the exact amounts that will be allotted to Romania, yet. We are trying to identify some businesses we could fund," Serban added. The company aims to support start-ups and innovating ideas. "We will invest in projects with a business plan, a clear idea, perhaps a prototype. Unfortunately, this market is less developed than other European areas," Serban mentioned.ZF
