iQuest hires 40 people for Cluj and Brasov software centres

Germany's iQuest group, operating in the field of business ITapplications, plans to hire 40 people in the software developmentcentres in Cluj-Napoca and Brasov. iQuest is headquartered inFrankfurt am Main, Germany, and owns two software developmentcentres in Cluj-Napoca and Brasov and consulting offices inBucharest, Budapest, Paris and Gothenburg. Now, iQuest has 300employees, with 280 of them working in iQuest's offices in Romania.In 2008, the group's turnover reached 8.8m euros, with an addedaround 1.2m euros as indirect revenues from services operated bysubcontractors. "In 2009 we decided to strengthen our presence onthe Romanian market through a solutions and services portfolioadjusted to the crisis background, a portfolio that includessoftware applications for a more efficient organisation ofcompanies and cost cutting. The diversification of the softwareapplication portfolio is a priority because it allows us to betteraddress the demands of the market. There is still potential for ITinvestments, but efforts to educate the market and create an ITculture are also needed," iQuest representatives told ZFTransilvania.
