Samus Mex, a furniture manufacturer based in Dej and part of Mobexpert group, announced it expected to achieve slight growth of up to 5% in turnover this year, compared with 2007, when sales exceeded 10.2 million euros (more than 34 million RON). The company in Dej saw its financial indicators go down by more than 8% in 2007, compared with 2006, when Samus Mex's business stood at approximately 11.1 million euros (37 million RON). "We anticipate a slight increase in turnover this year, because, on the one hand, of the opening of new stores of the Mobexpert chain and of the expansion of the product portfolio, on the other. The business of our company on the domestic furniture market increased by 58% in 2007 compared with the previous year and we expect sales on the domestic market to go up by approximately 30% in 2008," Mihail Gidei, general manager of Samus Mex said.
