Schoenherr si Asociatii (Schoenherr and Partners), the local office of the Austrian law firm Schoenherr, estimates revenues worth some 6 million euros for this year, 50% more than the previous year. Additionally, the company intends to employ a total of 42 lawyers at the end of this year compared with the current 35. "This year, we estimate an approximately 50% increase in revenues, amid an intensification of investments on the Romanian market. More and more strong investors will enter the market, who could not have entered until now due to the investment constraints on non-European Union states," stated Markus Piuk, managing partner of Schoenherr and Partners. Last year, the company's revenues were for the most part derived from the acquisitions and mergers sectors, with the firm's business including the real estate and project finance sectors, the energy and natural resources sector, the corporate area (i.e. legal services provided to companies) and the banking-finance sector.
