SIF Transilvania sells 5.3m-euro shares

SIF Transilvania at the end of last year sold shares in Comvex Constanta, Romcarbon Buzau and Petrom for a total of 19.8 million RON (5.3 million euros), a release of the company sent to the Bucharest Stock Exchange shows. The financial investment company transferred the shares of harbour operator Comvex Constanta (CMVX) for 19 RON each, with the price of these shares ranging from 19 to 23 RON that day. The SIF got 10.735 million RON for the 12.78% (565,000 shares) in Comvex. The majority shareholder of this company is Solidmet SRL, which owns 51.99% in it. A significant stake in the company is also held by Broadhurst investment fund (10.43%). Comvex is listed on the second tier of RASDAQ. The 453,759 Romcarbon (ROCE) shares accounting for 30.69% of the company were transferred for 3.4 million RON. SIF Transilvania sold its entire stake in this company for 7.6 RON/share, close the session''s high on December 23, 7.7 RON. Romcarbon''s share capital stands 3.6 million RON. The company is listed on the second tier of RASDAQ. Its core business is manufacturing of plastic tiles, tubes and marks. The other significant shareholders are Unitai International Corp (12.56%) and Living Plastic Industry (38.03%). The financial investment company sold 11.850 million Petrom shares for 0.471 RON each. The reference price of that day was 0.482 RON. The total transaction amounted to more than 5.5 million RON. ZF
