Anchor and Summa to invest 80m euros in flats

28.06.2006, 19:46 13

The Anchor Grup, the developer of Bucuresti Mall and Plaza Romania shopping centres, in partnership with the construction company Summa, will start developing two residential centres worth 80 million euros. The company that has developed and operates Bucuresti Mall and Plaza Romania retail centres, is making its first move on the residential real estate market. This is also the first major project in the residential sector for Summa, as the company is usually associated with the construction of office buildings such as the Bucharest Corporate Center and the Millenium Business Center. The move made by the two companies is part of a recent trend on the real estate market, which sees developers focusing more on the residential segment. This segment has a very demand and offers a very good return on investments. This is not the first collaboration for the Anchor Grup and Summa Romania, as both Plaza Romania and the 18 million-euro expansion of Bucuresti Mall were developed by Summa Romania.
