Businessman Dan Şucu, owner of Mobexpert group, has operatedseveral capital increases for the stores of Berceni, Pantelimon andMilitari totally worth 11.9m RON (2.8m euros), according to theOfficial Gazette data.
The operations were carried out through Mobexpert Holding, whichŞucu controls.
"These stores are funded by the central office. If their capital istoo low, they get money either in form of a loan, or under the formof a capital increase," the businessman said.
Şucu explained that in the case of some fledgling stores, as forinstance the one in Berceni, or for older ones that need money, heopted for capital increases.
In the past, such stores were financed through loans, but Şucu saysthat "the appetite for borrowing from banks has been low lately",and this is why he resorted to alternatives.
In 2009, Mobexpert group, which besides 35 small and large storesincludes furniture plants, reached 115m-euro turnover, and for 2010initial estimates pointed to flat turnover. Outside Romania, Şucuhas a store in Sofia.
