After two years in Romania, Maurizio de Dominicis has now beenput in charge of Ericsson operations in Bulgaria and NorthernBalkans, being replaced at the helm of Ericsson Romania by MicheleGressani.
Maurizio de Dominicis, 55, the manager during whose termEricsson won the biggest outsourcing contract on the Romaniancommunications market, has since the beginning of this year takenover taken over at the helm of Swedes' operations in NorthernBalkans, and has been appointed Country Manager of EricssonBulgaria. According to data published by the company in theOfficial Gazette, de Dominicis ended his term in Romania on the15th of January.
After several months of negotiations, Romtelecom - one of theleading communications operators on the local market, signed afive-year contract to outsource some of its operations, which alsoentailed the transfer of 400 employees. According to ZF estimates,the contract between Romtelecom and Ericsson is worth over 10million euros. This is the biggest operations outsourcing contractsigned so far by a telecom operator on the Romanian market.
