Arcelor Mittal Construction Romania (AMC Romania), the construction supplies manufacturing division of Arcelor Mittal Group has been witnessing the slowdown of its turnover growth rate since the second quarter, due to the financial blockage felt at a macroeconomic level. The company posted 30% growth in turnover to about 12 million euros in the first half, but this rate will not continue in the second half. "The market where we operate with the three divisions, Armat (residential sector), Arval (industrial facilities), and Arclad (building cladding), was dynamic until the middle of the year, but we noticed a slowdown in the speed of growth in the second quarter and even now," said Marian Parvu, general manager of AMC Romania.
