Banca Transilvania controls about 8% in SIF Banat-Crisana

On Thursday, Banca Transilvania reported that it held 7.96% of the shares of SIF Banat-Crisana (Financial Investment Company Banat Crisana - SIF1) together with several other investors. The stake is worth around 37 million euros on the market. BT did not publish the names on the list of people involved together with whom it owns this stake, who could be significant shareholders, other members of the management team and subsidiaries of the group. BT is the biggest shareholder of SIF Banat Crisana, according to the latest reports on SIF stakes. Another investor, off-shore company Ampelus Holding Limited, registered in Cyprus, controls 4.6% of SIF Banat Crisana's shares, valued at around 21 million euros. Investors who jointly hold more than 1% in the shares of a SIF had to report these stakes by Wednesday (inclusively), after being instructed by an order published by the CNVM (National Securities Commission) in the Official Gazette the previous Friday. American investment management company Julius Baer and Dutch group ING had in turn reported on Wednesday that they had concerted stakes exceeding the 1% mark in the SIF's share capital.
