Construction materials producer Siceram in Sighisoara expects a turnover stagnation at 65 million euros under the most optimistic scenario, whilst the company's sales could go down 15%, to 55 million RON, if the situation on the constructions market worsens. "This year we expect a turnover that could be worth 55 million RON, in a pessimistic scenario, 60 million RON in a moderate scenario, and 65 million RON - in an optimistic approach. The main reason for the situation is the economic crisis, and the results are hard to predict because the scale of the economic crisis is not currently known. What is clear is that results saw a decline in the first quarter. It is also difficult to anticipate when lending will resume, what its effects will be, and when the state will pay its 2008 debts," said Nicolae Neag, Siceram's commercial manager.
